Can I donate any amount? 

You can absolutely customize your gift amount as long as it meets the minimum donation to qualify for each star level, as listed above.

How big are the stars?

Twinkling Star – 3.6” x 5.025”
Shining Star – 4.5” x 4.3”
Shooting Star (with tail) – 8.5” x 5”

Will my baby’s photo be included on their star?

For Shooting Star donations, a photo of your baby will be included in the star. After you make your donation online, a member of the Foundation will reach out to get a digital photo (high resolution photo file will be needed).

Can my donation be made in memory?

Yes. When you make your donation online, there will be a checkbox where you can let us know your donation is being made in loving memory. Stars in memory of babies who are no longer with us will feature a special yellow border.

How will my donation be used?

When you make your donation online, you will be able to tell us whether you would like your donation to support a specific area of care, or whether you would like to donate to wherever it is currently needed most in the Hospital.

Where is the Star is Born wall located?

The wall is located on Level 4 on the Maternal & Child floor, in the hallway that leads to the reception desk.
